The Rock Poster Society Collage

Original Collage Art. A large collage that depicts a fanciful rock poster gallery show. It was reproduced as a print and introduced at a TRPS (The Rock Poster Society) show, in 2001, published in an edition of 600. I worked on this intricate collage off and on for over six months. Chet Helms gave me his approval to use some of the 1960s Avalon poster-cards in the design. Art is hand-signed, with two signed prints included.

About the Artist

David Singer "David Singer is best known as one of the early Fillmore artists, designing 75 posters for Bill Graham, from 1969 to 1990. This was the era before computers changed everything in graphics. Working mostly in the medium of collage, he has now integrated traditional analog cut-and-paste methods with current digital techniques. David singer currently lives and works in Petaluma, California."
