Summer of Love Banner Logo

Original Logo Art. A drawn and inked design for Chet Helms and the Summer of Love, 30th Anniversary Celebration, in Golden Gate Park, 1997. It was designed to complement the Heart Logo for use as a website header. But Chet liked the heart so much, he never used this design. After his death, in 2005, I placed it on a poster (sponsored by Roger McNamee) for the Memorial Concert in celebration of Chet’s life, at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. Art is hand-signed, with a signed poster included.

About the Artist

David Singer "David Singer is best known as one of the early Fillmore artists, designing 75 posters for Bill Graham, from 1969 to 1990. This was the era before computers changed everything in graphics. Working mostly in the medium of collage, he has now integrated traditional analog cut-and-paste methods with current digital techniques. David singer currently lives and works in Petaluma, California."
