Attended the Moonalice annual 4/20 Show (on 4/19 this year) at Slim's in San Francisco, with my webguru, Michael Truncale. For me this "Gathering of the Tribe" was the best ever.
In March, 2015, I did this piece of hand-lettering for Eric Clapton and his staff. Not sure if they will color it or how they plan to use it, as I turned it over to their art director. When they show me something, I'll post it.
Eric King is well known as an authority—probably the authority—about San Franciso rock posters, at least the posters from the glory years of the Fillmore and Avalon ballrooms.
My poster for the Bill Graham Retrospective Exhibit at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, later this year, gave rise to an interesting creative juxtoposition.
Billboard Magazine, for their article, THE 25 BEST ROCK POSTERS OF ALL TIME, in 2014, chose two of my Bill Graham posters.
